Vehicle: Third generation BMW E36 (1990–2000)
The Sikky LSX E36 swap kit is designed for use with the LS series of motors and the 6 speed T-56 and auto 4L60 transmission. Our kit requires no modifications to the factory front sub frame. The Sikky mount kit is a direct drop in solution. The Sikky motor mounts are CNC machined billet aluminum versus the mig welded sheet metal mounts that other kit manufacturers provide. This makes a big difference and insures the motor is in the precise position every time. Our products are built to the highest standards. Every component offered in the kit was completely designed in-house by our team of engineers from the ground up. Unlike our competitors that retro fit off the shelf bushings and other parts from different manufacturers, our urethane transmission and motor mount bushings are designed specifically for these applications. We build our oil pans with a 1/2″ thick flange and back plate to provide superior strength that will outlast and outperform other pans available. All our products are tested under rigorous track conditions to ensure our customers are provided only the highest quality parts available.
Transmission and Shifter- This kit is developed to work with both the 4L60E and T56 transmission. The shifter on the T56 is located in the factory position to allow an OEM look and feel to the vehicle.
Fitment Notes: Relocation or Removal of the ABS module is required for this swap. This will require new brake lines to be made.
For proper header fitment you will need to use aftermarket eye ball arms (rear attachment point for lower control arm) as well as Sikky’s low profile steering shaft. Learn more about the Sikky Low Profile Steering Shaft.
Currently this kit is designed to work with left hand drive vehicles only.
- Can be used on LS1, LS2, LS3, LS6, L99, LQ4, LQ9, LSA, LS7, LS9, LSX and any other LS based engine using this engine mount and oil pan bolt pattern.
The Stage 1 Mount Kit Includes:
Aluminum Race Oil Pan
- Designed to fit perfectly around the front sub frame of the BMW E36 3 Series chassis when using a Sikky mount kit
- High capacity 5 1/2” deep front sump design with side kick outs for maximum oil capacity
- 1/2” thick CNC machined 6061 Billet Aluminum Flange and back plate

- Included back plate compatible with factory dust covers to prevent debris entering the bell housing
- High ground clearance design keeps the pan from hanging out the bottom of the car

- Comes with Pan mounted bottom port remote oil filter adapter, Magnetic drain plug and Hardware Kit (utilizes some factory hardware not included).
